Michael Glezerson, is an emerging sculptor. He embarked on his artistic journey in 2022, demonstrating a remarkable talent and passion for sculpture despite having no prior background in the art form.

It wasn't until the age of 60 that Michael decided to pursue a weekend hobby of sculpturing. Michael joined the Australian National Art School Short Courses and developed his skills attending Weekend Saturday classes.

Despite his late start in the art world, Michael's passion for sculpture is evident in every piece he creates. Each piece is made from recycled salvaged rusted, bent, and broken scrap steel offcuts. His work speaks volumes, conveying emotion and storytelling through his manipulation of metal.

Michael comments on what makes art interesting “The beauty of scrap metal art lies in taking something old, breaking it down and transforming it into something new”.
